| California | California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) | 45 days |
| Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana | State consumer privacy acts (VCDPA, CPA, CTDPA, UCPA, TDPSA, OCPA, MCDPA) | 45 days |

How we know what happened
Reading instructions tells us how to ask. Sending a request tells us only that it was sent. If a company says it deleted your information, we report that as its answer. For a public listing, we can also check whether the page has disappeared. We can't look inside a private database to prove every copy is gone.
