Terms of service

Last updated September 2026

Draft, pending legal review. This document may change before launch.

1. The service

Delisted sends data deletion and opt-out requests to data brokers on your behalf, tracks responses and follows up. The service is free and funded by voluntary donations. We do not guarantee that any broker will remove your information.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 and use the service only for yourself.
  • The information you provide must be accurate and about you.
  • One account per person. You are responsible for keeping your password secure.

3. Capacity and waitlist

We admit new people only when donations can sustain them. If we are at capacity your account joins a waitlist in sign-up order. See how seats work. Donors may be admitted ahead of the waitlist.

4. Authorization

Requests are sent under an authorized-agent authorization you sign separately. You can revoke it by deleting your account.

5. Acceptable use

Don't submit someone else's information, attempt to disrupt the service, or use it to harass brokers or anyone else. We may suspend accounts that do.

6. Donations

Donations are voluntary, non-refundable except where required by law, and not tax deductible. Donation amounts are never shown publicly with your name.

7. No warranty; limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for the actions of data brokers.

8. Changes

We'll notify you by email before material changes to these terms take effect.
